Job description

Performs duties as defined by the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia Aviation Security Program for operators.
Develops and publishes standards and recommended practices at all levels within the company.
Understands and anticipates strategic, market, and operational regulatory needs related to aviation security.
Establishes and manages external partnerships with local and international civil aviation regulators and governmental authorities.
Leads and develops internal procedures for aviation security. Guides the implementation of instructions, guidelines, and standards based on national and international regulations, ensuring continuous procedural advancement in aviation security.
Based on risk assessment, initiates aviation security measures against acts of unlawful interference and/or for flights considered high-risk.
Identifies strategies for risk mitigation and participates in the planning and development of aviation security emergency plans.
Oversees the development and implementation of the Aviation Security Management System (SMS) to ensure company compliance with the National Aviation Security Program; evaluates the effectiveness of security measures, policies, practices, and procedures applied throughout the network.
Responsible for quality control and supervision of all training programs in the field of aviation security.
Ensures that employees receive appropriate Aviation Security training.
Advises the Aviation Security Board on identified strategic and operational threats related to aviation security.

Requirements

Type of Education: Level VII, Higher Education
Minimum 5 years of work experience in the implementation of Aviation Security measures
Authorization to perform the duties of a responsible aviation security manager issued by the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia (CAD RS)
Computer skills: Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
English language: Excellent, active
