Description

  • Works on developing the aircraft operating manual in the section related to aircraft performance and Weight and Balance (W&B).
  • Determines the aircraft performance operational limitations with respect to runway physical characteristics, atmospheric conditions, takeoff/landing procedures, and noise requirements for scheduled and charter airports in the RAS (Embraer E195), FOS (ATR 72), and PEP (Airbus A319/A320/A330) programs.
  • Develops takeoff and departure procedures in cooperation with the heads of the Flight Operations organizational unit and the organizational units responsible for each aircraft type.
  • Prepares and organizes automatic data processing in performance-related software systems.
  • Defines conditions for ferry flight operations.
  • Updates and maintains the aircraft/airport performance database.
  • Issues instructions, bulletins, and special publications related to performance in order to improve flight safety and operational efficiency.
  • Provides performance-related information to other organizational units.
  • Monitors and studies regulations and recommendations issued by aircraft manufacturers, state authorities, and international bodies.
  • Prepares Airport Analyses and RTOW charts for all destinations and alternates in scheduled and charter operations.
  • Processes data obtained from aircraft measurements.
  • Updates and maintains the Weight & Balance database.
  • Develops the ANM manual and performs operational control of aircraft loading and center of gravity.
  • Provides operational instructions for preparing load sheets and center of gravity calculations.

Requirements

  • Type of education: Level VII, Higher Education; Faculty of Mechanical Engineering or Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering – Aviation Department
    Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in aircraft performance calculation
    Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    English language: excellent, active
