Job Description
- Assists the Flight Dispatcher in ensuring that all flights are conducted safely and efficiently, in compliance with national aviation regulations and company operational standards.
- In coordination with the Flight Dispatcher, ensures adherence to the fuel uplift policy; supports economical and efficient flight operations.
- Monitors the flight operations system and informs the Flight Dispatcher of potential or current operational issues from the dispatch center’s perspective (weather conditions, delays, ATC slots, NOTAMs, MEL limitations, airport operating hours, fire coverage, landing facilities, etc.), and alerts to possible disruptions.
- Assists the Flight Dispatcher in evaluating meteorological risks: proactively avoids severe weather phenomena.
- Supports the Flight Dispatcher in cost management: effectively controls operational costs and plans to maximize benefits from TFR.
- Assists the Flight Dispatcher in flight planning: calculates the required fuel quantity for safe flight completion based on aircraft type, flight distance, maintenance constraints, weather conditions, fuel cost policy, and minimum fuel requirements defined in OM Part A and DCV.
- Completes all mandatory initial training required for obtaining the DCV Flight Dispatcher license, covering aircraft systems, company operational policies, meteorology, and aviation regulations.
Requirements
- Education Level: VII, University Degree; preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering
- Previous Work Experience: Not required
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- English Language: Excellent active knowledge (spoken and written)
