Title:  Senior Accountant

Job Description

• Performs postings and detailed analysis of fixed assets and inventories during the reporting period.
• Prepares working papers related to monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate presentation and reporting of the company’s financial position and results.
• Cooperates with the Cost Accounting unit and monitors postings by cost centers to identify and implement potential corrections.
• Prepares monthly reports related to fixed assets and inventories.
• In cooperation with colleagues from the Financial Planning and Control unit, analyzes postings as part of the ongoing performance forecast process.
• Collaborates with the Financial Planning and Control unit in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts.
• Participates in the preparation of statutory financial statements and reports in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) on an annual, semi-annual, and quarterly basis, as well as in reports for statistical purposes.
• Liaises with external and internal auditors and prepares documentation in line with their requirements.
• As needed, participates in the preparation of monthly VAT calculations, submission of tax returns, and maintenance of all required VAT records.
• Provides support to activities within the Shared Service Center.

Requirements

• High school degree (IV)
• Minimum 3 years of work experience
• Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• English language - excellent, active
