Title:  Fuel Procurement Manager

Job Description

• Manages the tendering process in accordance with the company’s internal procurement regulations, corporate governance, and maintains a high level of ethics in the procurement process by applying the core principles of: cost-effectiveness, efficiency, equality of bidders, and competitiveness.
• Identifies opportunities for cost savings in fuel expenses and suggests more efficient ways of working.
• Monitors and forecasts fuel prices on both local and international markets.
• Prepares high-quality tender documentation and independently conducts the entire fuel procurement tender process.
• Develops strategic relationships with international fuel suppliers and monitors their performance to ensure a high level of service, execution of works, or product quality.
• Promotes good business practices, moral, professional, and ethical standards through support and advice to end users.
• Regularly researches the local and international market and stays informed of the latest trends in fuel procurement, implementing them in consultation with his/ her immediate supervisor.
• Negotiates with suppliers to achieve the best quality at the lowest total cost.
• Engages in short-term and long-term (2–5 years) fuel procurement strategy planning.

Requirements

• College or university degree, preferably in technical or economic fields.
• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience, especially in procurement processes (tenders, contracting).
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent knowledge of SAP, especially the MM module.
• English – excellent, active knowledge
• Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and negotiation skills, agility
• Experience in strategic planning and process optimization
• Independence in work, strong leadership skills, and experience in team management
• Strong initiative, proactivity, and ability to make independent decisions
