Title:  Technical Safety Engineer

Long Description

• Revises and monitors safety indicators to determine compliance in Technical Department. Oversees the Safety Risk register
• Assists in technical investigations of maintenance failures, procedures to prevent recurrence of failures, thereby reducing costs and increasing safety
• Performs duties as a technical specialist in identifying hazards and assessing risks in technical tasks and recommends measures to reduce risks
• Approves risk assessments when convinced that the risk tolerance and reduction measures are adequate
• Monitors completed risk assessments carried out in Technical Department, in accordance with procedures and processes, and ensures they are recorded in the risk register
• Implements and applies procedures outlined in the manual. Verifies that corrective actions to reduce risks are taken in a timely manner
• Promotes safety by issuing technical publications/Safety Insight, Safety Message, Safety Warning, Safety Caution, Safety Information
• Analyzes and processes reported technical events, reports events to the CAD
• Conducts inspections on the platform, Safety Audits
• Maintains the meeting of the Technical Safety Action Group
• Interprets and analyzes FDM parameters related to technical aspects
• Maintains communication and coordination between Technical Department and all other organizational units regarding safety and compliance
• Responsible for the concept, development, and initiation of initiatives to improve compliance and quality standards in technical operations

Additional requirements

• Higher education (VII level)
• Knowledge of aviation regulations issued by the competent legislative bodies (especially EU OPS, EASA, and CAD)
• At least 5 years of work experience, with 3 years in aircraft maintenance/ airworthiness roles
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• English language – excellent, active
