Job Description
- Manages regular reviews and monitoring of safety indicators to determine compliance within the Technical organizational unit.
- Oversees the safety risk register and ensures that all subordinate organizational units within the Technical unit operate in accordance with manuals.
- Manages checks to ensure that corrective actions for risk reduction are taken in a timely manner.
- Manages technical investigations of maintenance failures and procedures, and assists organizational units in preventing recurrence of failures.
- Manages the processing of technical issues in identifying hazards and assessing risks in technical operations, and recommends measures for risk reduction.
- Approves risk assessments when satisfied that the measures for risk tolerance and reduction are appropriate.
- Manages completed risk assessments conducted within the Technical organizational unit and ensures they are recorded in the risk register.
- Manages, implements, and applies procedures outlined in the Safety Management System manual and actively participates in workplace safety programs.
- Promotes safety / issues technical publications: Safety Insight, Safety Message, Safety Warning, Safety Caution, Safety Information. Reports events to the DCV.
- Conducts platform inspections and Safety Audits according to the annual Safety Audit plan.
- Performs interpretation and analysis of FDM parameters related to the technical aspects of aircraft operations.
- Manages relationships and communication between the Technical organizational unit and all other organizational units regarding safety and compliance, with the aim of promoting safety.
Requirements
- Type of education: Level VII, Higher education
- Excellent knowledge of aviation regulations issued by relevant legislative authorities (especially EU OPS, EASA, and DCV)
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience, including at least 3 years in aircraft maintenance/airworthiness roles
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- English language: Excellent, active use
