Job Description

  • Replaces the Senior Manager of Aviation Security in his absence and carries out responsibilities and duties with integrity and standards.
  • Accountable to the Senior Manager of Aviation Security for ensuring regulatory compliance in the area of ​​aviation security through the implementation of policies and procedures of the Aviation Security Program, in accordance with national and international standards.
  • Responsible for the successful implementation of the strategy assigned by the manager, implementing it at all levels and areas of operation of the organizational unit.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of special measures based on best practices during periods of high risk. Ensures that appropriate measures are taken for situations of high risk, in order to prevent acts of unlawful interference and prevent operational risks. Manages the implementation of the Aviation Security Management System – Security Management System - (SMS) to determine compliance with regulations (National Civil Aviation Security Program) through security checks (Audit), inspections and research (Survey) and confirm the effectiveness of measures, policies and procedures that are applied.
  • Responsible to the Senior Manager Aviation Security for the interpretation of the analysis of the collected data related to the identification of risks and weaknesses and for the introduction of additional measures.
  • Responsible to the Senior Manager Aviation Security for risk assessment of flights to/from high risk destinations in the Aviation Security domain based on available information.
  • In accordance with the instructions of the direct manager, communicates with the company's management, partners, suppliers, civil aviation and other authorities and airports.

Requirements

  • University diploma (VII)
  • At least 5 years of work in aviation
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • English language – excellent, active
