We are the national airline of the Republic of Serbia and one of the oldest airlines in Europe with a history that dates back to 1927. We fly to over 90 regular, seasonal and charter destinations throughout Europe, the Mediterranean, North America, Asia and Africa, both in passenger and cargo traffic. Our fleet currently consists of twenty-eight aircrafts.
Job Description
- Ensures a safe, reliable, accurate, and economical flow of flight operations for the Airbus fleet. Oversees fuel-saving measures, in collaboration with Dispatch and Flight OPS support, and defines procedures for the crew. Reviews inputs and feedbacks forwarded to the fleet via FOR, implements, notifies, and documents required changes. Monitors flight safety data, identifies risk areas, and defines risk control strategies.
- Implements, maintains, and checks the company's standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) by: collaborating with other fleets, the manufacturer, and the training department. Based on this, defines the SOP to ensure best business practices. Defines the introduction of new procedures and regulations through training. Ensures the systematization of relevant content in OM A, GOM, FCOM, and MEL. Issues flight operations bulletins, information, and occasional revisions of procedures and regulations. Conducts risk assessments for new procedures and regulations.
- Flies as part of the crew based on the authorization and license they hold and participates in the organization and execution of flight tasks. Responsible under the Aviation Act, other regulations, applicable manuals approved by DCV RS, and company manuals.
- Monitors errors in pilot training and decides on necessary interventions together with the training department.
- Ensures the optimization of staffing requirements for the Airbus fleet.
- Defines, controls, and publishes the operational plan for ULR (Ultra Long Range) flights within their fleet.
- Participates in the selection process of new captains for the type. Provides recommendations for training on the type. Organizes and conducts evaluations.
- Coordinates all amendments (regarding performance and FCOM changes) with the Technical Pilot and the engineering department. Ensures the timely introduction of all amendments into OM B. Assesses the operational impact of changes imposed by the manufacturer and defines necessary activities, together with the fleet’s technical pilot. Verifies the completion of OFP, Flight Order, and Flight Reports (Voyage Reports), as required, to ensure compliance with OPS standards.
Requirements
- Higher education (VI)
- At least 5 years of experience in aviation
- Valid ATPL license with a commercial aircraft type rating
- English language – excellent, active
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
